Meet Lauren

Licensed Clinical Social Worker #87994

I have been providing strength-based mental health treatment to teens, young adults, and families since 2013. With my experience providing intensive, in-home and community based behavioral interventions, I have developed a hands-on and keeping-it-real approach to individual and family therapy.

In my free time, I can be found spending time with my dog, Frankie; reading a book; watching the San Francisco 49ers or having quality time with family & friends.

It was important to me that I create a space where clients felt comfortable and saw it as their safe space. With feedback from clients, I have stocked the open bookshelves with a variety of fidgets, coping strategies, snacks, art supplies, and games.

Located in Downtown Los Gatos, there are several options for taking your session outside.

 
 
 

My Approach

It may often feel like you’ve tried everything but nothing works, at least not long term. You find yourself worrying and often struggle with things that feel outside of your control. There is no shame in needing additional support.

During our sessions we are processing emotions, identifying core beliefs, and working through action steps. These action steps are typically completed during session with the goal of increased client functioning over multiple domains. I support my clients to have the ability to independently manage their mental health symptoms, this includes knowing how to communicate when they need additional support from trusted individuals.
